The LGU-Claveria holds Its First Monday Flag-Raising Ceremony for the Month of April

On April 3, 2023, Municipal Vice Mayor Fredelino D. Agpuldo, spearheaded the first Monday flag-raising ceremony for the month of April, which was held at the Municipal Gymnasium.

Visitors from the U.S. Army of BK 38-2023 led by CPT Nathanael Wyre, and MBLT-8, led by 1LT Romer T. Villarmino PN (M), Acting Civil Military Operations Officer were warmly welcomed by the LGU-Claveria.

Hon. SB Member Jojie Calasag proffered their monthly accomplishment reports at the Sangguniang Bayan office.

Ms. Reyn Niduaza, Chairperson of the Municipal Tourism Council, was the program’s distinctive guest and speaker. “Do not wait for others to create the next great government program or come up with the next great generation, and don’t lose the spirit of service that brought you here in the first place. Be the leader that you’ve always wanted to see in your government! Lagi mong aalahanin: serve with integrity, serve without self-preservation, serve without politicking, serve because you love the community, serve because you love the people, maglingkod ng may pagmamahal at pagmamalasakit sa Claveria. “And behind all these successes of every Claveriano is the person who has worked behind the scenes to make a better government, and that is you,” she vented in her speech.

Moreover, athletes and coaches of the Claveria School of Arts and Trades, the Claveria Rural and Vocational School, and the Academy of St. Joseph were acknowledged for their exemplary performance during the Cagayan Provincial Athletic Meet held at the Cagayan Sports Complex last March 9-12, 2023.

Mr. Arnel G. Reantillo was named employee of the month for March.

Members of the Sangguniang Bayan, LGU employees, uniformed personnel, and Barangay officials were also in attendance during the ceremony.
