St. Joseph’s Feast Fluvial Parade

St. Joseph is honored with a slew of adorned boats sailing at the same time. Anglers believe that by doing so, they can beseech the patron to bless the sea and their livelihood.

The feast of St. Joseph (Den Svatého Josefa) is observed annually on March 19th in honor of St. Joseph, Mary’s husband and stepfather of Jesus.
