
Oversee the Relief Operations that will be Conducted in the Municipality
Department of Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, along with Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, Admiral George Ursabia Jr., and Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) General Manager Jay Santiago, arrive at the Port of Claveria in Cagayan to oversee the relief operations that will be conducted in the municipality today, 19 November 2020.
Yesterday, 18 November 2020, a total of six PCG cargo trucks carrying thousands of relief supplies gathered and prepared by the Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command personnel from 15 to 17 November 2020 proceeded to Cagayan to be distributed to families affected by Typhoon Ulysses.
The goods were donated by various private individuals, as well as PCG commissioned officers, enlisted personnel, and non-uniformed personnel.
Also joining the Secretary in Cagayan are DOTr Chief of Staff and Assistant Secretary for Procurement and Project Implementation Giovanni Lopez, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General Jim Sydiongco.
