MDRRMC Emergency Meeting

Hon. Lucille Angelus Guillen- Yapo convenes the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council to discuss and lay out plans for effective disaster preparedness to lessen the possible impact of Typhoon Florita in the Municipality.
After the meeting, the Honorable Mayor together with the Municipal Vice Mayor personally led the inspection and monitoring team composed of the MDRRMO, rescue 41 members, PNP, BFP and Coast Guard and assessed all 41 Barangays especially those that are considered low-lying/ disaster -prone.
Coordination with all Punong Barangays was also made by the LCE to make sure that BDRMMCs are prepared and activated and designated evacuation centers were also inspected.
In addition, all offices related to disaster management are put on standby to include prepositioning of goods for distribution to possible affected constituents.
