LGU Claveria conducts GAD Seminar cum Team Building

To ensure the establishment of a gender sensitive and responsive local government thru the implementation of different programs, projects and activities that address gender mandates and gender issues and at the same time make sure that GAD systems and processes are mainstreamed, the Local Government Unit of Claveria composed of the Honorable Mayor Lucille Angelus Guillen-Yapo, Vice Mayor Fredelino Agpuldo, Sangguniang Bayan members, Department Heads and secretariat underwent Gender and Development Training on March 15-17 at Vitalis Villa, Santiago, Ilocos Sur.

Said training was facilitated by the Department of Interior and Local Government wherein Ms. Jamille Palpallatoc, LGOO II and Mr. Vicente Calimag, MLGOO served as speakers during the training.

In addition, the participants also maximized the opportunity to have their Team Building to develop camaraderie and unity among the personnel and staff needed to achieve an effective teamwork in recognition of team building, as an effective tool in the attainment of organization goals and objectives.
