Flag Raising Ceremony on May 8, 2023

The Loacal Government Unit of Claveria, led by Mayor Lucille Angelus Guillen-Yapo and Vice Mayor Fredelino D. Agpuldo, held a flag-raising ceremony on May 8, 2023, at the Claveria People’s Gymnasuim.

Some officials delivered messages shortly after the ceremony. The opening remarks were presented by Punong Barangay Juby Marte A. Agpuldo.

Mayor Guillen-Yapo put forth an enthralling speech. “The Executive and Legislative department work hand in hand and we work together united for the betterment of all Claverianos. Let us Set aside our differences, agtrabaho tayo. Ta daytoy ub-ubraen tayo ita ket saan a para kadatayo nu di ket para kadagiti pamilya tayo, annak tayo ken iti sumarsaruno pay a henerasyon,” she claimed in her message.
Sir Rogelio Labuguen, CFMPC General Manager, was one of the event’s highlights, sharing his thoughts and expertise with attendees through an inspirational address.
Vice Mayor Agpuldo also delivered a brief message in which he concurred with the assertions conveyed by the local chief executive in her speech. He also stated that unified leadership is their goal and that it can only be achieved with the support of unified Claverianos.
Mr. Brethart A. Lorenzo has been recognized as employee of the month for April.
Furthermore, the Local Chief Executive administered the oath of office to new cooperative officers in town. These cooperatives are commonly recognized for their significant contributions to financial stability, creating job opportunities, and fostering community.
Honorable members of the Sangguniang Bayan, LGU staff, uniformed personnel, barangay officials, and representatives from various co-ops were also present during the event.
