DILG on Wheels

With the aim to bring the DILG Provincial Office in the LGUs especially to those with newly-minted Local Chief Executives and shall serve as a pre-NEO intervention to newly- elected officials, the “DILG on Wheels”- a one day orientation and consultation was conducted in the Municipality of Claveria on July 18, 2022. Hon. Lucille Angelus Guillen-Yapo, Municipal Mayor of Claveria headed the LGU attendees together with Municipal Vice Mayor, Hon. Fredelino Agpuldo, Sangguniang Bayan members and LGU department heads. On the other hand, the DILG team was composed of Engr. Elma Urbina, CESO V-Provincial Director, Ricky P. Torrado- DILG Cluster Head, LGOO V Raphoncel C. Taccad, LGOO V Arvin V. Esoen, LGOO III Alyza B. Layson,
Engr. Eden Baguec, MLGOO VICENTE L. CALIMAG, JR. and DILG secretariat.
The activity took-off with a briefing on significant programs, projects and activities as well as discussions on the status of compliance on DILG deliverables. Said orientation-consultation is expected to serve as a guide/tool for better planning, policy formulation and PPA implementation of the Local Government Unit.
